I rarely speak against a FP deal, but I just bought it last week and do not recommend anyone follow my path. BTW, I have the other Anker's earphone, P20i. I am OK with that, but not this sport version (V20i).

Why not like:
1. Hassle to put on and take off.
You need to adjust the hanger to fit your ear and then have to restore it back to original position to put it back to the battery case. Couldn't the battery case be large enough to accommodate all positions?

2. audio is low.
This might be no wonder since you attach the earphone to your ears, not insert it in. The audio quality is compromised. You can't immerse yourself in.

3. The battery case is large for your pocket.

All in all, I am disappointed on this purchase. Because I somehow have to tear open the original package box to get the product out, I don't want to return it in that way. I will keep it but don't recommend you to do the same.

I say it pretty much every time this deal is posted, but I love these headphones. I have really small ears, and the usual in-ear type of wireless headphones either fall out or become really painful after a few minutes. Meanwhile, I barely notice these, even while wearing glasses as well. They're not for audiophiles, but you wouldn't expect that at this price anyway.

This is also my experience, but I'll add that they are very secure. I had Airpods Pro 2, but they would fall out of my ears while I was just sitting at my desk. The only time I've had Soundcores fall out was when I went to wipe sweat off my face and I forgot they were in my ears and I knocked them off.

I have these and love these. The use case for these are for people who want to be aware of their surroundings and use them for phone calls. The audio clarity on the receiving end is the best out of all my earbuds. The sound quality for other things is just acceptable but I'm not using these to listen to music. Mostly speech or videos. For that purpose these are the best bang for the buck as Soundcore has yet to disappoint me. I think expectations need to follow what you are buying. For yard work and you aren't using something loud like a gas powered lawn care machine, these are great since you can hear whats coming through clearly from the yard or the speakers. They do sound surprisingly good for speakers firing into the air into your ears without a seal.

Re 1. Not an issue for me. Got used to it within 2 weeks. The indicator lights are so bright (while waiting to connect) they act as flashlights in the dark.
Re 2. I use this for audiobooks, podcasts, calls etc. Works wonderfully indoors. I would not get this for outdoor use as road noise makes it pretty useless. Definitely don't get it for lawn mowing. I have listened to music and it works alright. No issues with quality - speaker or mic. Yes, this is a tiny speaker basically.
Re 3. Case is indeed large. With my dad bod, I don't care about looks. But you need big pockets to carry them around. Not a con for me. The case is made of some cheap cheap material though. Scratched day 1. All over the case. It's ugly. Doesn't affect functionality. Storing the buds takes time in the dark or when falling asleep. Battery life is pretty good but I didn't measure it. Maybe 4hrs on the buds?
4. The biggest con is the time to connect. Solid 8-10s. You get used to it but it's nuts in this day. Send biggest con is because of the design, only a single-tap would really work effectively. All other settings are useless. It's got 3 modes - both on, left only on, right only on. Dont be confused as to why your tap gestures aren't working. This is why.
Got it for the same price. Going to keep it.

I got nothing but praises for office work. It connects seamlessly between phone and computer. Voice is clear for meeting. Value wise 10/10 quality is not the best for music. But very easy to use.

These work well over hearing aids, a nice alternative to bone conduction earphones.

I don't get the complaints about the hassle to return them to the case which requires losing the physical setting that works for your ears. The wire stems have three positions, which click into place. My setting is the third click. Just a simple tug. The bud portions swivel in and out. I swivel them out for ease of putting on my ears, then swivel them back in tight to my ear. NBD.

If you're not wanting to compact the wire stems to the first position (just a squeeze), then you'll need a bigger case. If you're not wanting to swivel the bud portions flat, then how do the contacts on the buds touch the charging contacts in the case?

Daily user here, never would have imagined such a complaint.

Re: #4. Mine connect instantly with my Motorola ThinkPhone. The taps always work for me. Right and Left are set differently.

I got these in the last deal and I love them. As long as you know what you are getting and have a use case for them, they'll serve you well. Don't expect them to have the same audio quality or noise-canceling as over-ear or in-ear counterparts. These are meant for casual listening when audio quality doesn't matter much, though they do sound great for their form factor. If you want something portable that's quick to deploy and stay on your ear with decent audio quality for a not-too-noisy environment, get this.

I appreciate all the comments on music so far, but can anyone expand a little more on it?

Obviously not expecting audiophile music quality or anything like that, but is it super thin and tinny like something from an early 2000s pair of plastic computer speakers, or is there some small semblance of low end? Is the music quality distractingly bad, or is it just not as good as something from a proper pair of headphones? I've been contemplating something like this for when I'm outside grilling or just hanging out on the porch and would like to still hear the birds but not be a pest to my neighbors.

Picked these up for $28 back in March on a whim and I love them. Obviously not for loud activities or commutes since the train or lawnmower will drown them out, but for other applications around the house, running, cycling they've been great. Battery life is decent (I rarely think about charging them) and I often find myself wearing them without sound on because they're so comfortable I forget they're there.

These are my first open ear headphones so can't compare to anything else, but would recommend at this price for sure.

I personally think these are great for music. I use them for this purpose in an office setting almost every day. The app has an EQ option so you can adjust the highs and lows, and I actually boosted the highs because a firmware update made the bass way better than it was out of the box.

I have used Shokz (OpenAir) and find these Soundcores to have much better audio quality, especially with the bass. I would equate these v20i to having nearly the same sound quality to Apple earbuds (the regular ones that just sit in your ear, not plugging your ear like the Pros). I also own a pair of Samsung Galaxy Buds and I have found myself using the v20i's way more because they are so much more comfortable. Yes, I lose a little sound quality, but it's not distracting at all. I think these are 100% worth the price they're going for right now.

Here's my EQ settings in case anyone wants to try it. Sounds good to me, but all ears are different. Be sure you have updated your firmware FIRST.
