Is this deal better than the one that expired for the Lenovo ideapad for $450; both have the same processor. I was able to get both and need to decide on which one to keep; screen size does not matter for me. https://slickdeals.net/f/18481339-lenovo-ideapad-slim-5-16-1200p-touch-ryzen-ai-5-340-16gb-ram-512gb-ssd-450-free-s-h?src=SDSearchv3&attrsrc=Thread%3AExpired%3ATrue%7CSearch%3AType%3Anormal%7CSearch%3ASort%3Arelevance%7CSearch%3AHideExpired%3Afalse

that has 45%NTSC, 300 nits, this is 100% DCI-p3 400nits sdr, 600nits hdr. the ideapad does have expandable storage and memory (at a pound heavier). I think it really depends on your use case. if you are mainly plugged into an at home monitor looking for a cheap, expandable laptop with a cheapo screen is fine.

Been watching these. Seems like a stellar deal, but really don't like the 500 GB SSD. Use it for a lot of photo and some video storage.

Corsair seems to make this size with a 2TB. Any gotcha's I'm not considering in upgrading to this SSD?

Anyone get the $50 off banner recently? I have tried several different computers and it is not coming up for me.

Sorry for my ignorance but is the 14 inch OLED screen worth it over the 16 inch LCD screen? Which one is the better value? https://slickdeals.net/f/18488011-lenovo-yoga-7i-2-in-1-16-fhd-ips-touch-intel-ultra-5-226v-16gb-lpddr5-512gb-ssd-599-99?attrsrc=JFYCarousel%3APosition%3A1%7CJFYCarousel%3AType%3Athread&src=jfy_carousel
if weight is not an issue and you are willing to sacrifice on the vividness of colors/constrast on your screen then get the 16 inch

These are some of the latest popular chips out there you see.Intel Ultra 7 256V is better for multithreaded CPU tasks, thanks to its hybrid core design (P+E cores).✅ AMD Ryzen AI 5 340 wins in AI tasks, power efficiency, and possibly GPU performance, especially with RDNA 3.5 graphics.I have no idea if Lenovo price matches but if they do you'll get the pen for free
The graphics seems far behind intel

I've looked all through my member offers page and I don't see the offer, nor do I see a banner either. Is it buried in there somewhere or am I probably just not lucky enough to have it targeted at me?
I feel like if that offer was present I might get this to use as a backup for my main PC, which is what I've typically kept a laptop around for. Turns out I never really needed one much ever since I bought my last laptop in like 2013. I drag that old one out every couple years to keep it updated, but lately it's like the most tedious chore to do it as it takes hours for all the updates to catch up, and the laptop itself is rendered basically unusable during the process.
I know this obviously isn't a gaming laptop in any way, but are modern integrated graphics capable of running some lighter stuff reasonably, say World of Warships or Star Trek Online or things like that? Stuff that I'd typically play every day so that if my main PC is out for some reason I could use this, or also play some lighter stuff on the go.

I see it when I use Safari but don't have it in the app or Google

Should be straightforward. Were you thinking of cloning the OEM drive or doing a fresh Windows 11 install on the 2TB from a USB installer?
