Typically these hoses are narrower in diameter, than your average garden hose. So you probably won't get standard volume through it, and the 100 foot length may limit transfer even more.

Have a few of these that look identical, probably made in the same factory. The hose is tough except for the inner hose which eventually separates from the crimped ends (not sure if tears off from the crimped end or pulls out). Also they can't really be driven over, car will crush the outer metal jacket. See the multiple negative reviews of the end coming off.

I don't think I'd buy this again except for a hose that sits outside all the time in the sun and isn't moved (the more the end connection is moved the faster the inner hose seems to separate from the crimped end). It's main benefit to me was that it didn't crack and blow out after sitting out in the 100+ degree sun for multiple years.

If one of the ends breaks, there is no way of fixing it like a normal garden hose.

I have one of these because the lawn guy cut my regular one with a trimmer. I haven't had that problem in years.

Reviews range between "awesome" and "piece of crap".

Most folks seem thrilled at first...but after one season; not so much.

This is a dumb question but doesn't the water get really hot in the summer ? 🤷 ♀️

I bought one of these during the last deal. Overall, the hose is solid with no issues after using it for 3 weeks. The only problem is a slight water leak where it connects to the garden hose tap.

Came here to say this. You can easily scald plants with the water running through this

Not as hot as in my black rubber hose. But even with that I just run it for 15 seconds until the hot water is through.

Price is slick for 100 feet of stainless steel cover.
Beware of the aluminum connectors which can corrode.
Brass connectors usually cost more.

What is the inner hose made of? Is it nontoxic or "drinking water quality", which still can have bpa… and you really notice reduction in pressure because of smaller diameter? So it wouldn't make a good emergency hosing around in case o fire emergencies?
