Yes.

In fact, I wouldn't bother with eneloop D adapters. Typically devices that require D cell are either high power or long life hard to reach. The 1900mah AA isn't enough for either and you will be replacing batteries 4-6 times as often.

You can, and this deal makes each battery slightly cheaper than buying a pack of only AA's ($2.54/battery on Amazon). Plus you get the adapter

This is correct. Just suck it up and go buy old fashioned D batteries.

I put these in a maglite and they lasted a few months while the original D batteries lasted a decade.

Solid price and matches around what the IKEA LADDAs cost, with bonus adapters.

I agree, had these and tossed them. Using rechargeable AAs in place of D batteries just didn't work, they died way too fast.

Need D batteries for a lantern and I've been waiting for a deal on AA Eneloops too. Doesn't matter if I have to change them more often. I only need them for a few hours at a time, when I feel like doing late night yard work. Maybe this will stop me from leaving the lantern outside overnight. Thanks OP in for 6. (Prime family sharing)

EVERY SINGLE Maglite I have that has ever "failed" has been from leaking alkalines.

I'd rather have the short life of these than have to scrap another Maglite. NiMH D cells are still too expensive AFAIC.

Just buy the 3xAA spacers in 1x D cell, single AA is useless

Just so we're clear, you get 4 actual batteries (AA) with this including the D adapters. The packet for 4 AA batteries is running $15 so even if you don't need to D adapters, it is still cheaper if you just need a few extra AA batteries. That being said, they have a 10 pack of AA for $24 right now which is probably a better deal.

Edit: Oh I am wrong. BUT, same price at Walmart if you buy two.

Am I mistaken, or is Walmart selling this exact product for HALF this price?:
