I have the G10 version of this laptop that I use for travel (and am typing this on right now). It's been surprisingly solid and doesn't over heat like the several intel laptops I had before this one. I paid $1,100 for it on a similar deal 1 year and 4mo ago. No reason for me to upgrade, but I would highly recommend it - although it does seem $100 more then what I paid for the G10 with almost identical specs.
