Reviews aren't great. Personally spend more to avoid spending on water bill due to leak.

Any recommendation? I'm thinking of this one with brass https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...5HHQL&th=1

I would go with the Rainpoint brand, more expensive but lasts multiple years and I leave them outside in the winter. I just remove the batteries.

I have used the Orbit Brand. Work fine, battery lasts a long time but they are expensive and they eventually leak a little over a seasons use. Very frustrating. Orbit did send me a new one but just a real pain. My local water company has rebates for smart hose timers. Takes the sting out a little since they are free. They allow you to spend up to $250 on rebates so I bought several to hold me over, especially since I have 2 water accounts.

Orbit, rainbird, melnor. I would personally avoid the no name companies for something that is plumbing related. Don't leave them on spigots if you have freezing weather possible.

I use this one and it's been great. Also can't beat Walmarts 90 day return https://www.walmart.com/ip/146896...2b1e92875d

I use the orbit ones. Both have the brass connector to the hose bib, but not the hose. I am in south florida, so freezing temps arent a problem. But, they get a lot of sun and I heard that was the biggest downfall to these. So, I had two of these I bought when they were on sale for like $9, and I hang it on there so the timer sits in the compartment. Both are less than 6 months, so hopefully it will help them last.

I have a single hose one from a different brand (same dial, same display, same layout) that works great. All the naysaying has me second guessing myself, because I was wanting to upgrade to a 2-hose one after the great experience I had from a 1-hose clone of this one (this one is also likely a clone, not trying to imply it's better, just that the one I have is extremely similar 1-hose variant).
