He was replying to someone who linked a different item on Amazon and explained that one didn't come with the battery. So, if anyone here can't read, it's you. Funny how the first one to judge people is always the one who has the problem. Very sad.

Is this just a rebadged version of the $30 amazon blower? Looks exactly the same. Been trying to find the best chinese blower that takes dewalt batteries for under $50 on amazon, will use it very infrequently so don't want to buy top tier brands if these will do the jobhttps://www.amazon.com/Battery-El...3dAur4UF0l

What do you ppl do with multiple leaf blowers, genuine question
I have one in a closet to blow off the deck on the top floor of a townhouse. Laziness aside (not having to carry it up 3 flights) - I bought another a few years for the extra battery. It was a little less than this one - don't remember the exact price, but not much more than the cost of a battery. Now, because I am lazy, I am happy to have one in the garage and one upstairs. Bought this last time it was offered on woot. Very satisfied. Surprisingly strong for such a light blower. Great for porch, sidewalks, and lanai's. Battery last long, no problems. The LED shows you how much battery is left.

Well there's a chance he already had a Dewalt battery. Once you're in a particular "battery system" there's less resistance toward purchasing another tool in that system.

In my case I went ahead and purchased this leaf blower because I already I have some SunJoe batteries. It all started last summer I became interested in switching to an electric lawn mower. I found a nice deal on a SunJoe electric mower. I wasn't exactly looking at SunJoe, but it was the cheapest of all the other electric mowers available and Home Depot was sold out of their lower-priced electric mowers (and I am well into the Ryobi system). Since then I have picked up a SunJoe shop vacuum, two portable water pumps, a power washer and two SnowJoe snow blowers.

Someday, I hope they will come up with a universal, interchangeable battery system. Then we can just make our selection based on the quality and features of the tools being offered.

Spend 10 extra dollars for a trash battery that will last a year to add to the e waste pile when you already have perfectly good Dewalt batteries that will fit and last 5x longer. A mighty genius plan you got there bud please tell us more of your wisdom
