In my case I went ahead and purchased this leaf blower because I already I have some SunJoe batteries. It all started last summer I became interested in switching to an electric lawn mower. I found a nice deal on a SunJoe electric mower. I wasn't exactly looking at SunJoe, but it was the cheapest of all the other electric mowers available and Home Depot was sold out of their lower-priced electric mowers (and I am well into the Ryobi system). Since then I have picked up a SunJoe shop vacuum, two portable water pumps, a power washer and two SnowJoe snow blowers.
Someday, I hope they will come up with a universal, interchangeable battery system. Then we can just make our selection based on the quality and features of the tools being offered.
