This post is for bags with pellets and you suggest a machine requiring power. That's a ridiculous alternative, and the deal you linked is expired anyway, so thanks for nothing lol.
I can see how these could be useful in a closet or basement or whatever. The picture of one hanging over a river is interesting. Might be overselling it a bit!

Good question. Only one review and now on clearance. You get 5 for a little less than 3 similar damp rids depending on where you look. Might be worth a shot. Both use calcium chloride as the main ingredient.

Yeah, a $120 dehumidifier expired deal is tempting, but I'm going with the $10 bags.

If that river runs dry, I'm sold!

I think the target is to capture condensation in camping tents, hence the outdoorsy imagery.
Camping when the dewpoint hits overnight & you wake up with wet walls and sleeping bags really sucks, esp in the extreme cold or heat.
Edit: I assumed, made an ass out of me
I figured for typical Ozark Trail outdoorsy imagery
there's literally a pic with it hanging in the open air on a dock that's just dumb lmaoooo

Also worth comparing to the dollar tree version that costs $1.25 each
