I stuck a schrader valve on a cheap sprayer and fill it with a portable inflator.

Do you leave the inflator attached and carry it around with you, or repressurize after a few minutes?

I usually repressurize, unless I'm spraying very heavy. But i can can carry the Ryobi or Sunjoe inflators in the same hand as the sprayer, so it's not a big deal either way.

I have one of those hand pump types, are you saying you thread the shrader valve onto the tip of the wand and pressurize it that way? Because that's brilliant. lmao

Ha, no, that would be great, but you have to spray out of a nozzle, not a valve, and you may want to spray and pump at the same time.

I just drilled a hole into the side of the tank at a flat spot and ran a bolt-on type schrader valve into the hole. Nothing fancy. To determine a safe psi, you can pump up the tank by hand and read the resulting pressure off the inflator display before you start it.

Ohh, I was just thinking you swapped the threaded tip to pressurize & then put it back, but that makes a lot more sense lol, thank you very much for this info, I'm literally going to do this as soon as humanly possible. The worst thing about the pump I have (found it thrown out at work) is I can't fill it up past halfway because that's the optimal pump:sprayvolume ratio, filling it up any more means diminishing returns due to how much more frequently pumping is required. I got one of the Fanttik pumps a few months ago so this is a great application/opportunity to test the limits of it's features.. seems like you just have to be pretty careful mounting the valve. I'll either build something awesome or blow my face off, either way it's gonna be awesome. lmao
