You can swap these keycaps on your mechanical keyboard. Both the coiled cord and the keyscaps are mainly for aesthetics.
Keycaps aren't just for aesthetics. PBT keycaps are definitely an upgrade over ABS keycaps as they won't shine or turn yellow over time (Oh well, you can argue that still counts as aesthetics. 🤣) and they have a texture that some people prefer. However, I still wouldn't get this and I'd recommend GMK keycaps.
As for aviator cables, yeah, they're mostly just for looks and a good quality USB-IF certified cable is more than enough.
