we have a $8/mo existing pay as you go along with US mobile. can I purchase and transfer the line to this phone, then have it unlocked 3 months later?

Could be 2 reasons:
1) Pixel 10 is likely to launch in the next ~month based on solid rumors
2) 128GB and Obsidian black only

Either way, I think this is a pretty good deal if it can be unlocked with 3 months of service.

They did a $250 deal recently, so this one isn't as good as that deal. As well as with Pixel 10 stuff next month, some people are probably hoping for either a deal on the 9 Pro (since you won't see a deal probably until the launch of the 10 Pro).

Yes, just what i did. if you are not switching networks, you just need to put your existing sim into the phone, or activate it with an esim for what ever network you are use..

FYI, they told me this phone was not compatible with warp (verison) nework.. i T-mo so did not check and see..

Deal is actually for an unlocked phone.

US Mobile [usmobile.com] is offering Unlocked 128GB Google Pixel 9 Smartphone $389. Shipping is free. Quantity is limited to 1000.

Note that when checking out currently it states "Unlocks after 90 days on a us mobile line." However,
the CEO has posted on reddit that it comes unlocked [reddit.com].

I was initially excited for the Pixel 10 until it was leaked that it's a very minor refresh and it only supporting Wi-Fi 6 while the Pixel 9 and even Pixel 8 supports Wi-Fi 7. Seems like they're trying to push people towards the Pro phones.

They had a deal for $250 on pixel 9 a month ago. But if this is unlocked. So you are paying $390 - $250 = $140 for instant unlocked. Not sure if that's worth it if you are already on US Mobile plans already...so idk if it's that good of a deal compared to a month ago.

Definitely not as good as the instant sellout deals that were $250. But I'd consider this a pretty decent deal at this price unlocked. At least better than the current rating of -4 Thumbs

It works with any carrier and network, so yes Warp / Verizon and yes Light Speed / T-Mobile.

Even the locked US Mobile phones work with Warp, Light Speed, or Dark Star (AT&T), as long as it's with US Mobile.

Makes me glad I bit the bullet yesterday and got a new phone with twice the storage for not much more than what this is. This is no where near as good as the $249 deal that they stupidly announced to the world when it was going to go live and hence was impossible for most to replicate.

At least next month they're increasing our data to 70GB/month. Not bad considering for the same price I began with 20GB/month just a few years ago. USMobile: Great service, stupid sales.
