Every JosBank jacket or suit I've purchased ended up being returned. Their sizing heavily leans larger & loose, even when they claim it's tailored or slim fit. I'm a size 40R, and they always seem to fit extra baggy in the belly and chest area (and I have an active gym fitness body type).
If you're looking for slim fitting, modern "walking the red carpet" type of fit ....this brand will not be for you. If you however have a "Dad bod" where you are carrying extra weight in the belly....you may like this brand as their sizing and fit (off the shelf with no tailoring) seems to be cut for this body type.

The Burgundy looks nice! They have it in XL and XXL (weird sizing) with free shipping and returns. A beater blazer for $40 is hard to beat!

Ridiculous sizing... Small to xl on a jacket, and their sizing guide only refers to sport coat sizing charts. So I'm a 42R, but have no idea what size that translates to, and I'm not going to gamble on something I can't return. Granted it's $40, but still.

Returns: https://www.josbank.com/customer-...nformation But I agree. Too risky to buy something like this online for sure.

No experience with them, but returns sound pretty simple to me. Wonky sizing for sure. I think these being called "jacket" would fall under outerwear in their sizing guide. That's what makes the most sense lining up with what their sizes are named anyway. In for a couple jackets and also found nice shirt for $15.

Go with Large. Similar size 42R and a large fits beautifully in tailored fit cuts from Jos

Says "free returns" right below "add to bag." What gave you the impression you can't return it?

How is it risky? Returns are free.

Interesting sizing for sure but with free returns, one can't really go wrong. It is fits, keep it..if it doesn't, send it back!

Good luck finding a local store. There are two in California, one in Sacramento and one in Fresno. Since the bankruptcy filing in 2020 they have closed most of their B&M stores. The quality of their suits and sports coats has also gone to hell. Really sad as they where a 'high-end' store 15 years ago.

This is not machine washable. I received the jacket and it is labeled as dry clean only.

Cheap enough that you can gamble it with spot cleaning and dryel treatments
