My A/C just stopped cooling Friday in the middle of this heatwave in the Southeast. Been sweltering all weekend. 🥵 HVAC guy came out and said I have a freon leak and as old is the unit is, it would need to be replaced. $464 and 3lbs of freon later and its still not cooling like it did. Landlord will not even maintain the unit, so he definitely won't be getting a new one. And we can't raise any of the windows, they are stuck shut because of foundation problems. I'm doomed. 😩
