Unsure how good of a deal it is, but it's less than others on Amazon with most prices being $13+.

i guess based on the reviews "casual" seems to be referring to the pan not lasting super long time, but still i think that would just be steel's fault..
But looking at the reviews there are so many complaints about the non-stick not lasting.
Coating is not dishwasher friendly, and someone people even complain about the product sticker peeling off the coating itself.
1) The retail packaging is thin plastic bags. 50% of the time my pans come dented or chipped from Amazon. Amazon returns handled every issue just fine. Still annoying though.
2) You have to baby the coating. It isn't super fragile, but if you chip it or wear the finish off, the pan gets pretty ugly and non stick from there. It is not a pretty finished steel under the coating.
Overall at this price it is an easy recommend and I just picked up two these at $7 a piece

- Steel conducts heat at less than half the rate of aluminum, therefore it will have hotter hot spots than a solid aluminum pan would.
- The coating is like so many other coatings that makes it more delicate than any solid aluminum pan, and when the coating rubs off then the steel below will not only stick more but also rust. This doesn't just happen using metal utensils, it happens just by gently stacking multiple pans together when puting them away, no matter how careful you are. You have to put a kitchen towel between each steel pan to prevent this from happening, whereas if you just get aluminum pans then this will never be a problem.
Just spend a few dollars more for a good aluminum pan that will last a lifetime, that will never rust, that will never have a delicate coating that will rub off and cause sticking. There is a reason that almost all bakeries use solid aluminum pans, and that is because they are more durable, heat more evenly, and won't rust like steel pans do.- Steel conducts heat at less than half the rate of aluminum, therefore it will have hotter hot spots than a solid aluminum pan would.
