There is no XR written on these batteries. Are these XR batteries or the standard one?

I was at my local HD today and saw they have 1.7ah, 5ah Powerstack batteries with charger included for $149 on clearance.
Just bought 7 1/4 inch 20V sliding miter saw and wondering which kit i would benefit more from. This or Amazon. I think powerstack would work a lot better on a miter saw (?).
Can anybody chime in?
Im slowly converting from Ryobi to Dewalt and some Milwaukee.

Powerstacks are designed to deliver energy faster and with Miter Saws, you might want that.

I tried using these 5Ah batteries with a handheld circular saw trying to tear down a patio cover and it was having a hard time ripping through OSB with asphalt shingles. After the battery heated up and just stopped working on both, I switched to a corded and had no issues and just abandoned using the cordless.

The only drawback is the tradeoff to the powerstacks is faster burn so the bigger the battery the better.

Keep an eye out on Fasteners Inc's Saturday flash sales. They've been selling the 8ah Powerpacks between $99 and $110 each.

They're ok. Run time isn't that great with the 5ah. Look to get like a 9ah flex 60v for the blower. I get enough run time to blow all my gutters my house and my neighbors with just 1 battery

1.7ah is not enough for a circular saw, let alone a miter saw.

I'm not sure why people are giving you thumbs down. I guess most people on slickdeals don't know much about DeWALT. 🤣

Only the lipo packs(power stack) now have XR written on them. It's been this way for nearly a year of production.
