This is a $199 (MSRP - https://www.henckels.com/us/produ...014-0.html) knife set. Annoying this $706 figure.

I have this set but with black block. The silver coating has rubbed off on most of the handles. The made in china probably explains why. Frown

I have this set when it was sold in a different block and was $79 from BJ's. I absolutely detest these knives. The handles have all lost their finish (I only hand wash-never once in the dishwasher) and they do not keep an edge no matter how I try and sharpen them. Seriously, I curse all the knife gods in existence every time I'm forced to use them. Any of them. Oh, and the steak knives will tear you off a piece of steak to chew on as the serration on the blades are so coarse that they'd be better suited for cutting bamboo. Maybe. Overall - garbage with a capital G.
