Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

No directs flights. You have to have a 1 stop flight, which ruins the value of the deal.

I never knew that a round trip to PR was so cheap in the first place. Might not use this deal, but will definitely be considering a trip sometime soon!

Was thinking the same. Heard PR is expensive even though the flights might be cheap...

It's pretty expensive being that everything is in U.S. dollars and the prices of everything is equivalent to what it would be in the states when it comes to food and shopping. If you take the ferry out to Vieques or C, then it's super nice and beautiful free beaches and a diff feel. Would just need to rent a golf cart. Just make sure you get the ferry tickets much in advance before your trip because they sell out(especially in peak season).

Walk a couple blocks in any direction and eat at where locals eat. Food is 10x better and about 1/4 cheaper. PR pepper steak is $30 at Old San Juan. In the Embassy area it is $6. They won't be hard to find, just follow the crowd or sometimes smell.

The only con is most people don't speak English outside the tourist area but they are super friendly.

Edit: Uber is very cheap if you don't feel like walking.

Free to locals commute to work from outside the area. It's 75 cents unless it's changed.

I often step-off cruiseship in San Juan, and go to huge bus terminal 5min walk from the pier. Are those no longer free?
