Is this the one that gets reposted every week and doesn't use usb-c. I'm starting to hate this site, why can't you block people? How do i block spam posters?
Micro USB charging cable,, so pick us a USB-C to Micro USB adapter if that's important to you.
I've found most adapters don't work because USB-C has too much power so you need a USB-A to USB-C/micro. I mostly only have USB-C bricks (and laptops killed USB-A) so this requires a certain charger and cable. So no just carrying around a tiny adapter you will definitely lose doesn't solve this.

meh had the same question. no type c no buy no matter how cheap. and yes previous comments are right regular type c and PD are not the same. PD chargers won't charge type c to USB A.
Do any of you whiners have a better 1 with usb c at this price point? I've bought 2 of these. Super bright. And will last all night on low. So you have all day to charge it. This is a deal site. Not a latest tech site. If you want one with the latest tech in it I'm sure you can find 1 for 3-4 times this price

I don't get this USB-C or nothing mentality. It's not a phone, it's not something you are going to need to quick charge, it's a frickin' emergency or camping product, not exactly something you need to use all day, or during the SUNLIGHT...If you can't charge it when the light is out, tech probably isn't for you...
My experience ... the micro USB port is poorly. It's a flaw and point of failure. Using an adapter won't fix a design flaw. Also , I remember this item last go , going in and out of stock . When it went out of stock my existing order(s) were canceled . A return to availability and the price more than tripled. There was no warranty information on OEM packaging . I did find an email address for CS online. 10 days later I find out they don't do replacements 18 days later after dickering about replacement cost I settled for less than replacement cost. The good thing 29 days later a check arrived USPS mail and I have the old lantern for spare parts. The model 1200 is a better (more expensive) lantern imho. This price is cheap for sure.
The number of people whining and crying about $12 camping lantern having micro usb instead of usb c is ridiculous. It's for camping or emergencies, not your daily phone-charging ritual, and you'll charge it maybe twice a year. It's bright, it works, and it's cheap. Move on.

I got this for my kids as I thought it would be similar to another they have. This is "better"... but holy hell it's bright!!! $12 is a great deal.
