Figure tax separately.
It varies in the USA by location ranging from 0% to 11.5%
No deal price includes tax.

You buy the phone for $200. Verify ID. Their cheapest plan is $40/mo. You'll pay as low as $20/mo for 10 months. Hopefully jump ship to Visible by then. $200 for an iPhone 14 doesn't seem too bad.

I mean... Is it worth the hassle? Three generations behind, no USB-C, no RCS, probably not overly snappy given modern AI cra... bloat. Plus all the hoops to jump through with TW...

Ai is a bubble, ai on iPhone is a joke. This phone is not much different than the latest model. Maybe a little slower, but it's not a big deal for most people.

No, TW and Tracfone are both owned by Verizon and TW doesn't accept Tracfone numbers for porting.

One potential option could be buying a cheapo RedPocket or the like and setting up a line using it for porting but I cannot vouch if TW doesn't require for the line to exist for some time in order to port it (e.g. 2 months).

I ported in a GoogleVoice number. No problem.

$10 stay connected plan is available for the second month, not just though calling, but through online chat if the agent is not an NPC. I was able to switch to the $10 plan on my a36 through chat since calling was put on hold for 2 hours but no one ever came. Must be done after the first month ends.

Only $65/month plan is available to me, even with autopay, $40/month with 3 month to unlock. So total is 200+40x3=320 for an unlocked phone?

IPhone 16e with one month service is $170 on boost and don't have to worry about this ID verification nonsense and iPhone 16e is better than 14.
I don't understand how people are getting excited about an old basic phone
