Wait, you mean an oil that less than .000000000001% of the population can use isn't a big seller!?? EEK!ConfusedBig Grin

("AI Overview")

"Several Toyota and Mazda models, particularly hybrids, utilize 0W-8 engine oil. Examples include the Toyota Yaris 1.5 Hybrid, Yaris Cross 1.5 Hybrid, and Mazda 2 Hybrid 1.5. I used Mobil 1 for years while they had their easy rebates, but then last year when they stopped giving them out, I started using Costco's Kirkland synthetic oil because the reports were really good on it. There are no specials going on now, but you don't have to be a member to order. I haven't paid their 5% non-member surcharge in months for some reason, but here is a page with their oil:
https://www.costco.com/s?keyword=...etic%20oil
Here are several informative videos on YouTube:

Same here. I had a BMW awhile back that said to use "euro" 5W20 and was on the Mobil1 rebate train for many years. My current cars are all 0W20 and I've been using Kirkland for several years. Usually around $16/5Q when it's on sale, no rebate nonsense to navigate.

only if Costco has the oil grade you need. They don't carry 0-16 presently

Mobil Delvac Rebate still not paid from 3 months back.

Mobile corporate customer relations confirms paperwork was received. Mobil customer relations indicates that rebates are outsourced and they cannot address. Mobil customer relations indicated that they talked to the group responsible for rebate and shared the issue.

I would expect that the Delvac team is different than this rebate team....so FWIW

Sadly 0w-8 is not on sale.
Walmart is still the cheapest 0w-8 I have found, for fully synthetic. I been ordering from them the 5qt size for a year without issue. It sucks, but we have to pay the full price.

I've you've been on here long enough, you remember the days of free synthetic oil after rebates. Those were the good days.

Aww. It's OK to be wrong. It's just better not to be unpleasant about it, because then you just look bad, "Cool".

You can believe Toyota has sold sh*tloads of those cars around the world. Accounting for orders of magnitude more % of the population than you described. Unlike your empty retort, the other poster was helpful in sharing that 0W-8 wasn't included. Saving people from having to look.

Thanks for sharing, OP. I'll pick up some ESP 0W-30. Meets Porsche C30!

Agree! They don't carry 0W30 either. At least Walmart does.

I go to my Walmart+ account -> Purchase History -> View Details for the delivery order and there is a Print link at the top left (web page, I haven't looked on the mobile app).

I'm going to use that for the rebate.

Plus, Walmart has 0W-30 ESP, which is amazing stuff (also in 5W-30).

I am having a really hard time with getting this rebate. Bought two 5-quart at Walmart. Bottom line is that they think it is because I submitted one form for the two purchases instead of two submissions.
