I've been reviewing Roborock trying to find a model for average home use (I have hardwood floor topped by low-pile area rugs).

Can anyone tell me if this is a good deal? Like better with the bundle and the Costco returnability vs purchasing an equivalent or slight higher tier model from Amazon/retailers?

Lowest was $460 a month ago and Costco occasionally have these on sale. I would wait.

I ended up getting the Ecovacs deal for $279 with a $50 code. After having a RR for many years I'm stunned at how much the tech has improved. Keep an eye out for Ecovacs deals. Love the Costco warranty though.

Just a Dad, on YouTube, goes over every model and gives you the scoop if you're curious.I think both of the Roborock models offer good value with the extras that you'll need at some point anyways.I went with a $400 QV 35A model on Prime Day because I just needed the basics and corner cleaning wasn't so important I needed to spend more. What you need will come down to your situation. If you have hardwood floors or the like, a basic model does great for most things. Pet fur and long hair will require more regular use of the machine and a tiny bit more maintenance on some models. Higher end models handle long hair and fur better, corners better, and will clean the mop pads a bit better (though whether it's needed is up for debate).Another model worth looking for a sale on is the Mova P10 Pro Ultra. It has a lot of features, and gets to around $450 on sale, but it seems like their QC isn't as good as Roborock's and there are more DOAs.People generally find they don't like these machines when their expectations are too high. There is some maintenance every month or two and if you have a dirty home, you need to run it often. It seems like a lot of folks want to run it once or twice a week in their filthy home like it's a full vacuum. They're usually quiet enough to run while you're sleeping, it's not a big deal.

What? Return after using for 3yrs? Wouldn't that be considered fraud?
