Quality is going down. Bought a pair for Maui and the sole started peeling off. Not what they use to be.

I'm wearing a pair right now. I switch between these and Keen H2s. I like the fact that these are cheaper priced Tevas. They are low maintenance, easy to put on, and don't really care too much if they get damaged as they aren't expensive.

I love these Teva's. Previously owned Chaco's, which are more rigid, heavier, and bulkier, though also more rugged. The Teva's will still last several years and are more comfortable IMO, and cheaper is nice too.

I have these. Very comfy compared to the basic Tevas'. I use these while rafting and light hiking. The sole has held up nicely however the nylon straps have minor fraying - a small annoyance. Overall I'd buy another pair.

I've owned many Teva sandals, but every single pair I've owned has suffered from a delaminated sole.

How? Isn't it a single piece? As in, there's nothing to peel off
I have a pair and I love them, use them all the time during summer outside of the office

These are good sandals I like the tread on these and soles have held up. The straps have been not great though the break in time cut up the skin as the Velcro base is sharp. It had started to fray as well but doesn't affect the strap security. I got these in dec 2022 on Amazon for $28. Also as the base it thick it's heavier than anticipated.

Like others have said, Tevas have gone down in quality. I bought an older model new on ebay. The soles on these have hallow treads that wear out fast. I can't believe they ruined this brand.

What's the year or model of the better older version? I have a pair from 15 years ago that I still use but the strap is worn out. Would love to get a pair of the older better quality version.
