I don't have a cheat sheet, but this 5560U was mid range for the low power (efficiency) segment back in 2021.

There are only five major architectures of Ryzen CPUs so far, and 8 generations in total — 1000, 2000, 3000, 4000, 5000, 6000, 7000, and 9000. That's because AMD sometimes used the same architecture for more than one generation
The first digit in the model number tells you the series of the processor. For example, Ryzen 9xxx tells us that we're dealing with one of the latest chips. The second digit is a performance identifier; the higher, the better.
AMD sometimes also uses suffixes after the model number to help identify the other features of its processors.

Bought one two weeks ago and I am impressed with it. Reinstalled tinywin11 and it's performing better than I expected. Perfect for anyone who needs a nice Windows laptop for a ln affordable price.

Everything else being equal, even compared to the highest-spec Dell 7420 with an i7 1185G7, this AMD chip still comes out ahead... on paper.

However, in real world for simple tasks like email, web browsing or Microsoft Office, you may not notice much difference.

Solid deal for a productivity machine. Doesn't look like it has a touchscreen otherwise I might be considering replacing my old Matebook D

If I understood correctly this being 5650, this laptop has 4 generations old CPU.

My HP EliteBook 845 G9 Ryzen 7 Pro 6850U w/ 32 GB DDR5-4800 from 2022 still zips right along for almost any task. This is my laptops older little cousin.

My personal laptop is a non-touchscreen and my work laptop has a touchscreen but I find myself rarely ever using it even though I'm on it 8 hours a day. Windows just isn't that intuitive for a touchscreen. Just my opinion.

Edit: I might once in a blue moon fold it to tablet mode and use the touchscreen but only when I'm walking with it. Even then I only do it with certain touch friendly apps.

My HP EliteBook G9 AMD Ryzen 7 Pro 6850 (the 5650U slightly bigger brother) from 2022 smokes my i7 from my 2023 Dell work laptop. I sort of hate that my company will only use Intel CPUs.

Thanks it was getting really confusing lately and now with Intel using 3 numbers.

Yeah that's fair, but I do use the touchscreen on my Matebook D periodically so wouldn't want to lose that function.
