Google isn't interested in SD support. They want you to use cloud storage. No incentive for them to improve SD integration.

I have this tablet, bought last time it was on sale. I am satisfied with it for media consumption and light gaming. Display is pleasant, performance 8/10. The only downside is that it has mere 128GB storage, expendable with an SD card (support for SD cards on android is actually kinda awful now)

It's not an internet issue, but a Lenovo issue and their faulty implementation of the Widevine DRM system.
Lenovo makes good hardware, but their tablet support is atrocious. Speaking from experience with their older P11 tablet, you can expect a great device that only works for a year or two before they stop supporting it and software updates break some functionality. Most of the videos I watch on mine are local files so the tablet still sees plenty of use, but I will never buy another tablet from them.

I have P11 Pro (gen 2),
latest OS is Android 14.
It can watch Netflix @ 1080p and Youtube @ 4K HDR 60pfs
I also installed SmartTupe, NewPipe, Tizentube Cobalt to watch Youtube without ads

Everything is good, except the CPU

I think you maybe mixing this up with the yoga tab 13. I have the tab 13 and it has a HDMI port which can be used as an external monitor.
