Yes, it has been $7.66 on Amazon for a long time, but the shipping on that option is a mandatory $7.08, so it's really:
$7.66 + $7.08 shipping = $14.74 total

They do, look at the box on Amazon.
"Farberware" isn't a glass company, so these are likely Chinese glass. The lids are apparently low quality too, lots of reviews about the clips breaking.
