Staples is incorrect with the processor info, the model 83MC0009US comes with the Intel Core Ultra 7 256V processor, as mentioned in the official spec sheet [lenovo.com].

Dang, I just bought this two days ago for $850. We'll, I'm not going to fight it over $50. I used Staples gift cards with 4x Kroger fuel points. I'll save another $120 roughly in gas over the next month from the deal.

How is your experience so far with this laptop, any cons? TIA.

I just picked up one with a little better spec at Costco, wondering if it's worth the extra $200:
https://www.costco.com/.product.1966999.html
Costco one has U7 258V with 32 GB RAM - the only two upgraded items (vs Staples) I could tell.

256v and 258v are the same processor. The 6 vs 8 means 16gb vs 32gb, respectively. Thats why it sayings its a 258v on the page but also listing 16gb is confusing … its an error.

$200 is a bit to pay for an extra 16gb ram but its a lot more future proof. We are at a point where 16gb is usually enough but not always.

I have it, sound is incredible and the screen is crisp and looks like oled. Major downside is the screen is gloomy/highly reflective, so it doesn't work outside is Sun or anywhere with bright lights or distracting background.

Second is the keyboard backlighting bleeds through and can be distracting, you can either turn it off or on (there is a lo/hi brightness but they are barely noticeable I difference, like like high beam and less high beam lights lol)
All else is Good.
