Good price to pair with the $150 6a rebate.

I am more than likely going to be picking one of these up for my wife to replace her pixel 6A and it's publicized battery problems. I'm trying to think of the benefits of purchasing this phone from Amazon versus Google. 5% off with Amazon Prime Chase card and fast shipping. still waiting for the $100 on all three of my family's pixel 6A and that whole Payoneer website crap

I know this is a 9a, but I have an 8a and I absolutely hate it! I did month of research on it because I am very picky. My old $100 Motorola, as well as my older iPhone are more dependable than this turd. You know that feeling when you just want to throw your phone, but than you know you shouldn't, well, that's how I feel pretty much every day. Just thought people should know before Google gets any more money for useless products.

As a pixel user since pixel 2 and now on the pixel 8, I concur. Finally ready to go back to iPhone after all these years.

Just remember that the Pixel 10 is launching in a couple weeks. Decent chance Best Buy has the trade in an iPhone 13 or whatever and get one free like they have the last couple years. I would definitely wait unless you need a phone immediately.

Is your issue with Android in general or just the Pixel? Why not try another brand?

I had one of the early pixels. It was great for two years, then started having random issues (I was constantly restarting the pixel) I have a Samsung now and it has had no issues. So I don't think it's Android.

I'm only seeing a $75 trade-in offer for a 6a at the Google Store?

I tried that, iOS is so incredibly primitive that I'd rather use a buggy Pixel than an iPhone.

It's from the battery recall rebate.

ive had my 9a for three months and love it. I also really liked my Galaxy Ultras in the past but those are literally four times the cost of this after rebate.

It's a solid budget phone. I got it because it's the cheapest phone that works with Project Genesis and cheapest one for Meta Raybans. Which don't work with any Chinese android phone.

Between pixel 4a & 6a we tried Galaxy S21's, and I didn't care for the Samsung apps (felt like half-baked attempts to recreate the Google ones). Just seemed like an unnecessary layer over the stock Android experience.

Pixel 2 was an amazing device. Compact, flawless fingerprint reader, amazing camera. Battery started to seriously degrade towards end of 2nd year as expected. Replaced with 4a 5g. Pretty solid overall, but atrocious battery life from the start. Enter 6a - horrible on-screen fingerprint reader, issues with battery yet again. Terrible overheating while using GPS. Now Pixel 8, randomly developed a permanent pink line in the screen which is a known defect requiring I mail my device to Google for at least 10 days while they repair it under warranty. Also, again, constantly overheats while using GPS for more than an hour. Freezes and can't make any calls, requiring a restart. Approaching end of year 2 and lose 60% battery by 5pm with light use.

Now heap the intrusive "AI" crap Google is pushing all the time... I'm done with Pixels.
