Too bad they don't include covers… but for $12, I guess you can come up with something on your own.

At this price I like to use these as landscape lighting for my Low voltage system. Usually I will light my flagpole or trees

I've bought lights like this and they're total crap. water and rust in less than a year. It's really not worth it. All it'll do is pile up in the junkyard

I have purchased many of these over the years. the all leak and the steel hardware will rust... take them apart and seal them yourself.good lights for a while. I have them on my truck, SUV, boats, ATV, and for other projects that I sell online for boat navigation/fishing at night.

So you're posting a negative review about an item yet you have no experience with these particular lights......Got itBig GrinBig GrinBig Grin.... I've used 3 sets of these exact lights and at almost 2 years they still look and function like new.

I didn't realize there was also an 18W version. I'm glad I ordered the 60W versions.

I have several of these mounted on a trailer in direct sunlight all day. In 2 years one of the eight pack got water inside. I opened it up and dried it out. I couldn't find a problem with it so I put it back together and it's been fine the last couple months. I tested these. They 10W of power at a voltage range of 11-30V. They technically work down to 9V, but I measured 1.8W (and dim) and I didn't try lower. Because of the wide range I use a set of these attached to a power tool battery as a work light. There's no low voltage cutoff so be careful doing this.
The screws in the light are fine. The hardware that comes with them for mounting are weird and crappy. I suggest supplying your own SS hardware if you intend to use these outdoors. I had to use an adjustable wrench because neither metric nor English fit properly. After a few months they started showing signs of rust. After 2 years the lights are still screwed down, but the bolts do not look good.
