there is a video of how to clean each model on the website so you can see what steps it requires
believe this is the older version and they are releasing a new model with an easier to open lid, the push to open can be tough on this model
i would get this over the spring loaded lid which is a mass reproduced Chinese bottle (as opposed to their newer/less popular bottles) which have a high failure rate - read about it online/Reddit
overall Owala is not known for their durability as evidenced by tons of reviews online, the fact that it's only double not triple lined makes a huge difference esp when keeping drinks hot
reviewers said this kept their coffee warm for around 30 min-1 hour which is about the same as a Starbucks cup
also people choose Owala for two reasons - ease of opening their lids, that's all, performance of cool/heat retention is the same as any two layer lined bottle
People choose Swell for their designs, aesthetic, and most importantly their triple layer design which makes a huge difference
Dont understand why on these threads and water bottle threads other slickdeals users are coming into the forum and telling people what they should and shouldnt be buying - KEEP YOUR PERSONAL OPINIONS PERSONAL - that means to yourself - that means dont comment unless you have pertinent information about the product or about the price.
