I believe this cologne is a love-it-or-hate-it kind of scent. I tried a tester of it last year and I enjoyed it. However, my wife didn't seem to care about it at all.

I've found a lot of the Hermes line to be a bit love it or hate it. I enjoy them because they're usually different enough from the normal "cologne" scents, but some of them are a bit iffy. the original H24 EDP is nice, but makes you smell like bananas. this one apparently is an herbal/medicinal pear smell, so again a bit odd. wouldn't chance a blind buy on it like I would some others. this is also the smaller bottle, so not a huge discount like if it were the 3.4 oz. I feel that the Hermes stuff is liked more by older guys. terre de Hermes is one of the only colognes that's actually gotten me compliments wearing it, but it's all been 40-50 year olds

If it's fulfilled by Amazon does that mean you could possibly receive a fake? I heard Amazon is notorious for having fake fragrances.

Yeah, fulfilled by amazon makes no difference, you can 100% still get a fake.

Luckily Woot is very liberal with refunds/returns, I personally haven't got a fake through Woot/Amazon yet though.
