I think this is a regional glitch. My wife and I noticed this fridge for 2048 at the store in Manchester NH but couldn't find it anywhere on the website except for the QR code scanned locally. Everywhere else this was appearing as 2800. It's cheaper than the bespoke non AI version. Had to call on the phone and get it price matched as when you add it to cart the discount gets removed but they matched it on the phone. Does not stack.

They have removed a lot of the features from the family hub, most notably you used to be able to see previews of your ring cameras on one of the pages. This feature has been gone for quite a while. There's no way I have found to add additional apps or side load any apps.
The camera that can see inside the fridge is pretty much useless as it's some stitched together image.
The auto fill pitcher works sometimes, sometimes it doesn't detect the pitcher.
The door for the can of beverages doesn't hold as many cans as you'd expect it to.
But the biggest gripe I have is the bottom ice makers in the freezer. While they do work you lose quite a bit of freezer space.
Also mine has the middle draws and the plastic has cracked in the bottom of this section.
I have the counter depth version so I can not speak to the larger version if these issues plague it as well.
But on the bright side they did give the fridge YouTube not to long ago.
But took away some other apps.
The previous family hub fridges had front firing speakers, these have down firing speakers which makes the volume ok but definitely worse than what it could be.
Ring doorbell will ring on the fridge if you're in to the ring ecosystem.
However just being honest most everything this fridge does smart wise can be achieved by adding an echo show in the kitchen and a better built fridge.
