How does the Plus laptops fit in the Dell lineup? I know Inspiron used to be the lowest, and XPS was the highest while Latitude was considered rugged for business.

Lenovo Yoga 14" OLED for $550 with $50 off targeted coupon was a better product for the price range. Same CPU, storage and soldered ram, but with an OLED touch screen that's brighter.

If interested, visit the deal then click the link and see if you get the offer like some did: https://slickdeals.net/f/18488017-lenovo-yoga-7i-2-in-1-14-fhd-oled-touch-ryzen-ai-5-340-16gb-lpddr5-512gb-ssd-600-more-free-s-h?src=SDSearchv3&attrsrc=Thread%3AExpired%3AFalse%7CSearch%3AType%3Anormal%7CSearch%3ASort%3Arelevance%7CSearch%3AHideExpired%3Afalse

Even at $600 I'd go for the Yoga. Better build quality overall even if the screen didn't matter to you.

It's actually quite an embarrassment for Dell if you ask me...looks rather ridiculous. I don't blame them for NOT putting it on their website!

300 nits is not sufficient for some buyers including myself. otherwise, it is a reasonable deal.

In Dell's quest to simplify and clarify their product lines, they had nasty relations with a mongrel diseased dog IMO. They destroyed what had become clear and known demarcations for the most part.

I bought a new Dell "Pro Max Premium" yesterday. WTF is that?

I much prefer the old Inspiron (junk, speaking from experience), XPS (once great, now neutered), Latitude, and Precision. I think I bought a "Precision" or workstation level machine, but I don't know, maybe it's a Latitude,

And what's a "Pro Max" vs the "Pro Max Premium"? Just higher performance? Beats me, but I think their plan is stupid.... Just my opinion...

I think Lenovo Yoga are the worse laptops in this price category. I had to return 3 already: first 2 had a hinge problem, the 3rd one had a warped surface, so it would wobble while I was typing. It feels like Lenovo Yoga doesn't have much quality control
