Historically JM were excellent shoes. They did move manufacturing overseas and are no longer made in USA. Quality has suffered but they are still very comfortable.

Coming from a dress shoe snob , these are actually decent shoes for a great price. Most of the sub $50 department store shoes posted here on SD are pleather/bonded junk.

Same. Looks like returns are free, considering trying a size up as I'm only an E-EE that can occasionally get away with D. These don't look very forgiving though.
