I would wait if you're not in a hurry.
I personally didn't pick it up but they clearance the previous generation on 5.1.2 Atmos last year for $100.

I've been looking at soundbars for the last couple of weeks. I'm pretty certain this is the usual retail price.

1000w is a very impressive output if it is real.

Got it back in March for $199 retail. The sound is good. Gets very loud. Upward speakers do make a difference. Looks nice.
To me, if you are that particular about sound, you should not be getting a sound bar in the first place. You would be looking at a receiver with wired individual speakers To me it sounds good and clear for videos, streaming and gaming.

I am pretty sure it is not because one of the reason I returned this is because I couldn't get my Vizio remote to control it and I let my remote scan every code. I believe Hisense makes it.

Where does it say 1000w in the description?

Edit*
1000w is "peak" not RMS. Its 250w RMS is the actual amplifier rating.
