Per Amazon notes:
The USB-C1 port has a maximum output of 20W. When USB-C1 and USB-C2 are used simultaneously, they share a total output of 15W.

This travel adapter supports a maximum of 6A. If a device connected to the AC port exceeds this rating, it may not charge or charge intermittently.

BTW, this one is NOT a voltage converter, it is just pass through adapter (basically allow you to plug in US style device to other country's outlet). Must make SURE that your device can handle 220/240v which is used a lot overseas.

Review on Reddit: The USB-A ports are a pretty big disappointment to me, I wish this had all USB-C ports.15W shared across 4 USB ports is really underpowered. But, it could work for certain travel accessories (a travel router, watch charger, travel shaver, flashlight, etc). But I never need to charge all these at once, hence I think 4 ports are just too many ports when they share only 15W.The AC passthrough is really the star of the show, because you can plug whatever you already have into this, and fast-charge your phone/laptop using that. What is really impressive is how thin this is, only 2.5cm (1"). This will beautifully slide into any pocket you have in your bag or even clothes. I am not aware of any universal travel adapter on the market that could compete on the compactness with this while still having full-sized AC plugs built-in.If I forget about the USB shortcomings (USB-A ports; only 15W shared for 4 ports) and look at this purely as a flat pocket-friendly universal travel adapter, I like it a lot. It is not a charger for all your devices, rather it is a complement for your existing other chargers. If I worked at Anker, I would ditch the USB-A ports and replaced them with another AC passthrough instead, so I could plug multiple chargers into this. That would also clearly deliver the message that this is really meant to be used with other chargers.

I'm generally skeptical of contraptions like this, or any power accessory, that tries to do more than one thing. Jack of all trades, master of none?

Practically speaking, how good can the powered USB ports be if it tries to do all the other things as well, and still retail for $20? The Anker unit might have better build quality that a typical example of the these things, but still has its share of moving parts.

It might be a little more bulky, buy my travel charger kit of choice is a desktop multi-port charger, with an IEC C8 "figure eight" cord input that doesn't try to overcrowd everything against a wall outlet that may not be that readily accessible, especially outside a hotel setting. Place that power source where it's most convenient, not where the wall dictates it must be. And be able to pack 3-foot device cords instead of 10-foot cords.

Travel frequently enough to a particular place, and buying the country specific cord can also be an inexpensive, and worthwhile option.

A desktop style charger can serve every device with the appropriate level of power, and with the right adapter, simple and clean.

Used this on a recent trip to London and Paris, and worked like a charm on both outlet types. Easy way to keep various phones, spare batteries and things charged on the go in other countries.

Anyone else a bit concerned about Anker after those recent large-scale recalls?

if you have low charging needs then this is great. if you need higher ones then the minix chargers are great. it does not have an outlet converter built in tho. if anyone has any ideas on a tiny converter then please share. the smallest I saw was the mogiclogics ma1 but it is a little expensive.

Better deal to spend $1 each on 2-3 adapters and use your own AC's for international use. This is larger, can't be used for more than one AC, and is low powered.

Totally. Get the off white copper and plastic converters, and there is no chance of confusing them with a voltage converter. For any amount of international travel, if needed, get a proper voltage converter. Those are also useful on cruise ships, which always have 220v outlets (in additional to 110v), though the ships built in the last couple generations have multiple 110v outlets where older ships had only 1 or 2.

Interesting how they try to sell it as a feature. Sure, it's much safer to not have the ground plug on the pass through when you don't have a ground plug on the wall connection, but that's because they didn't put it there. Of course, that's because this is targeted at being a 'nano' device, so it can't have the 3 pins sticking out or use the space to have a rotating 3 pin plug.
That's all so they can call it a travel device... which loops back to just getting some 'dumb' physical converters. Many (most? almost all?) phone/device chargers will take 220v input voltage with no issues.

There's typically not one for the wall side on these adapters, so from a safety standpoint it makes sense

i was thinking about that but my mac charger doesn't have a ground, neither does my phone charger or cameras so I think overall it's pretty good

if you can only take one adapter with you everywhere on this planet, this might just fit the bill, even with all the complaints and shortcomings mentioned.

Nope. They received faulty batteries from their supplier and they made it right. Compare that to a random alphabet soup brand on Amazon, who will just close up shop and disappear so they can avoid liability
