I bought two and never use them. I thought they'd make a nice camping knife but the shape is not as useful as any of my other pocket knives. To be honest, a good leatherman or the like is ideal for camping and most of what I need in life. I even use the stripper/cutter on the pliers to remove danger tags at work. Please done use a knife to remove tags, btw. We've had a few laceration from people not following the rules over the years!!!

i regret buying this knife. good thing is not that expensive when i bought it. i paid like $12 after taxes and some gc left in my account. i tried to lube the knife and adjust the bearing so that it will be smooth when flipping it or opening it but no luck. it's bulky for a small edc knife.

I've had one for years now and it's my default box-opening knife. Small and easy to keep at hand in a drawer, has a nice flick open action, and easy to close. It's stayed sharp across dozens of uses, suits my needs just fine.

I had the exact opposite experience. I adjusted the pivot point (with a T9) and was impressed enough to buy a backup.
There are two caveats: a) if you have larger than medium sized hands, the small footprint requires a higher level of dexterity, to use the index finger, for deployment. b) as you adjust the pivot point (which is relative to your dexterity), a certain amount of wobble is induced, when the blade is in the open, locked position.

If you want a knife of this pocket size for opening boxes & Amazon won't ship knives to your state this Garber box knife uses standard replaceable blades and is $13. Just don't lose the little stub screw when you replace the blade.
