Just an FYI: A proper heatsink is mandatory with any Gen 5 drive.

It's very weird how they haven't come up with a standard for NVME heatsinks when they can now generate as much heat as a graphics card at idle.

What's a "proper heatsink"? The ones with thermal pads that come with motherboards?

Again, a Gen 5 drive can generate as much heat as a graphics card.

They need active (dedicated fan) cooling.

Motherboard plates look nice, but they trap heat.
