Keep in mind a bench is a good idea to see if you are getting into this; but you ain't doing mid teir weight on these. Need a gym membership or specialized equipment for a lot. Like calves. - - - - - The dual cable machines are the closest thing to being able to hit mid tier athletes weight. An even that is usually max 100lbs per arm/leg. Good enough if you aren't planning on putting half your life into it or starting though. You'll be sinking an additional $100-$300+ plus into weights. if you surpass that This becomes obsolete, things like the leg kick an curl on these tend to max fast; ive broken some going over their stated limit (be sure to read the different weight limits on each part) . if you quit within a month or 2; a $20 gym membership saved a lot of money. If you want dumbells look into the bars you add plates to if you have these.

I got a generic clone of this and immediately returned it. It's very flimsy, like unnervingly so. The fly movements weight curve is way off, like 90% of it in the first few inches of movement and it is more like side ways bicep curls. Same goes for leg extensions/arm curls. For leg curls, it just doesn't work with where your knees hit the bench. The weight plate holders are 1" as well. The one I got also had a second attachment to swap into the arm curls pad, was a bar with a lat bar pull down and pulley, but wasn't smooth.
