I have made a sortable Google Sheet with all of the titles (84), which notes:

Titles that have UHD available (32),
Titles that have historically upgraded (at least 19),
Titles that are NOT MA (4)

That is how the Mix & Match sales always work on Fandango at Home.
Generally, though, titles with UHD available will get upgraded in your FAH either immediately after purchase, or within a week. The caveat being that the upgrades do NOT port to Movies Anywhere, so the titles will still be HD in Apple, Amazon, Google, MA, etc.

It looks like even though some of these are available in 4k UHD when you go to checkout there's a pop-up that shows you are only buying HDX. Lame

The sale banner on my app says all these movies are offered in sd only.
Didn't try adding them or buying them, but it clearly says it.

Others (on Reddit) have confirmed you receive HDX, and even a few reports of some instant upgrades to UHD.
On the sale's page, it says "Buy HDX $15.00" and if you're in the app it says "Buy HDX" on the checkout screen. The promo banner is just incorrect.

The whole SD/HDX thing when 4k is available is my only gripe about Vudu/Fandango. I've had it "offer" me 4k upgrades for........ the entire price of the movie anyway.

I think I've only ever had it upgrade something to 4k for free like once or twice.

If it has 4k, it should all just be automatically upgraded to 4k.

Yes. There should be one price, for which the highest resolution available should be provided. PC users shouldn't be blocked from viewing 4k. Videos should be downloadable for offline viewing. All movies AND TV should be able to be synced across platforms, like Movies Anywhere. The content is already out there for free - we're choosing to pay. Maybe catch up with the music industry and stop fragmenting video services.

I think I made four orders of movies. It's so many. They're good ones. So 20 movies in total.

Fanflix now has a similar Book to Screen sale (appears to be the exact same list of movies), but most are UHD and it's 3 for $12.

So $4 per movie instead of $3, but they're also UHD instead of HDX.
