The curve is good but the bite is terrible. Pretty useless for brads, embedded nails, or nails with thin heads.

Things I regularly use that are work better than this: hammer claw, cobra pliers, cats paw, wonder bar, hive tool, long-handle diagonal cutters, end nippers, knipex twin-grips.

I have one of these from Bates. The grip is good enough for the really old thin nails that didnt have proper heads but were instead wedge shaped. I was ripping up 100+ year old flooring and none of my bars, cat paws or hammers really could make good work out of removing them, manually yanking with pliers took a lot of force. Getting a good grip with these and just pushing down on the curve is night and day. Would recommend for sure

I like the more curved, slightly smaller jaws/bite for these. Bite is the selling point, and the smaller, slightly curved edges bite into not just nails better, but arc fasteners as well. Flat bite... bites.

Thank goodness these manual pliers were able to fix that

I have these and use them more than expected. They don't pull everything, but they can get a majority quickly, leaving just the difficult ones. I have used them for staples on the screen porch and tons of nails. Not perfect but they truly speed up the process.

Got a pair of these for Christmas and was really surprised how well they work. 9 out 10 times if I get a specialty tool like this it gets tossed in a drawer and after I use it a couple times it gets relegated to the junk tools drawer or the trash because it's garbage sold to people looking to get a "tool guy" a gift. Not the case with these though. First time I used them I was really impressed and they moved up to one of the main tool drawers and are my goto grab if I have a lot of nails or staples to pull. Also work really well at pulling finish nails from the back side of trim when you remove the trim and the nails come with it.

I have to disagree with some folks here. I have been using these daily to pull all sorts of nails, brads, staples, you name it and it has been able to pull them all. Really great tool.

Have this. Not perfect but the best tool thus far for pulling nails, especially for old flooring. Fantastic tool.

These were lifesavers during my remodeling work. I pulled all sorts of nails and brads while remodeling a 75 yr old home, and my only issue was having sufficient space for the radius of the puller. If they broke (they didn't) I would replace them immediately.
