Just FYI these sheets are super slick. In this case the high thread count works against you.

Laying on them right now (daily for two years). Nonsense post.

The thread count on these is entirely too high if you like to sleep cool. A higher thread count really works against you because the weave is much tighter. There's really no benefit to having a thread count this high.

I'm not sure if they've changed, but I had a couple of sets of these for... 15 years? A long time. Eventually they started to pill, but the little knots or whatever they are were really tiny, and slightly abrasive at night. They do last a long time, but the extreme thread count doesn't translate to laying a lifetime. Also, they are a bit heavy, at least for me.

Looks to be a few dollars cheaper if doing Costco Same-Day BUT there doesn't appear to be way to choose the color, so hopefully the person reads your order notes.

Is anybody seeing Costco cart issues on the website?

The costco site has almost 30k reviews on these, plenty of datapoints to look at.

If I buy them, do I have to sleep around to see if they perform as described by OP? I'm happily married but don't have a huge travel budget to cover planetary comparisons.

I've had these for quite a while and fully endorse them. I am a very hot sleeper and these have never been a problem.

I have two sets, but think I will take this offer up and grab a third!

Sateen is a fabric weave style, not a fabric material. Completely possible to have 100% cotton sateen sheets (which can give a very smooth feeling for better or for worse depending on preference)
I am aware sateen is not a material LOL. The sentence still stands. Though an 'and' instead of the comma might have read better.

FWIW I checked the Costo.com reviews on these and not one of the negative reviews (1, 2, 3 stars) mentions them being hot. Of course, there are only a few reviews were people left comments at all in addition to their star rating...

Agreed. I actually like the weight. My other favorites are a linen set. (not Costco) Very different but love both.

They mostly had blue and that weird not-quite-khaki color in store. Had to dig for a white set, but found one.
