Wait you're saying this 20 dollar belt is cheaply made and won't last a lifetime? They really tried to trick us, those sneaky snakes

The only ratcheting belt that I would buy again is my 7-year-old ratcheting leather belt from a company called kore belts. They're expensive because they're real belts made of actual leather . These cheap ones for $12 or so are super flimsy like a wet noodle and I bought two of them the other day and I was genuinely curious where the leather was...

I can't get the charcoal one to come up 50% off. Am I doing something wrong?

This and very similar deals have been flooding SD lately, how many people are buying and can share their honest opinions, the reviews are hard to trust.
I have a few from a different cheap brand but it looks identical. The functionality of the ratcheting is awesome. I love being able to tighten and loosen the belt without looking like I'm undressing. But the buckle finish wore out in less than a year. I leave my shirts untucked so it's not too big a deal for me.

Did you wear it daily? I am thinking of buying 2-3 and just alternate them. I am so done with belts with holes.

Reviews don't look like this will hold long, which is the main issue with these as they are all cheaply made, not real leather and the buckle will break after some time.

maybe lasts a year or 2, my big concern would be staining.... love all the 0 post posts btw!

You must be reading something else. The reviews in this link are almost all favorable with a 4.6 star rating. Customers consistently state the belts are made of (genuine leather). Reviews describe the belts as thick and durable with a high-quality buckle.

You cannot buy a belt that's not genuine leather and expect it to last. A genuine leather belt does not fall apart after a year or less. These belts are not genuine leather.I mean one solid piece of leather. You can see the pictures in the bad reviews that show it peeling and splitting.

You should look into heavy duty ratcheting gun belts. Thicker and mucher better quality, but at a higher cost. I bought one from Kore Essentials and its been going strong for 5+ years now.
Yep. Carry belts are high quality.

I bought a full grain leather belt years ago for $7 that I still use daily to this day. You'd be surprised at what you can get for pretty cheap, Just need to know what to look for

But I have a leather belt purchased from a leather store in 2004 that still is great, looks almost new still. Cost? $16 bucks. Although adjusted for inflation that is over $25 today, haha.
Yet that lacks the ratchting feature that seems really nice, I am interested in and many people seem to really like. I have leather belt such as yours yet want one of these.

I would advise to stay away form the places like Carhartt that state real leather but do not supply it and yet charge top dollar.

BTW if you do not mind where did you get yours as they are hard to find? I was looking for real leather and tried all the major name brands and saw review after review of fake and bad quality leather. I even bought a few but could see that they were not what they claimed

Strangely I had found some on Amazon that were playing off some misspelling of of some high end brand and I guess coming from China yet reviewers were saying they were the real deal. I was hensunat but I two for $9 each and they are the real deal and the one I am wearing will probably make it to I die.

Real leather is nice and I had one from when I was about seventeen and that lasted to near 60..

I went back recently and would probably be rich man if I bought a thousand but they are no longer available.

I bought one last week, (this one https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DG91K...th=1&psc=1). I'm very pleased so far at how comfortable it is. I've been using the ratchet belts for a while but it seems every one has square buckles with sharp corners. If you're a bigger fella like me and have a little overhang those sharp corners get uncomfortable poking you in the belly when sitting. The more rounded corners on this one have so far been a very welcome relief. The one I got with the full grain leather seems very sturdy and actually made of leather. Time will tell how well it holds up but for the cost I went ahead and bought another.

A bit of a misrepresentation of what he said doncha think? He never said it would last a "lifetime".

I have $10 belts I got from Ross 15 years ago and still work fine.
