Great deal. I got this flood light for $130 during Amazon Prime. ….of course haven't installed it Edit: looks like this may be the older light design. Maybe older model.

1080p…this camera should be $75 tops. I have it. It's ok up close and better than nothing. Just feels outdated.

Yea, Ring has been slow to upgrade the resolutions of their cameras. The upside is it doesn't use as much network bandwidth.

The Pro has 3D Motion Detection and Bird's Eye View. Overall, it seems the Plus is regarded as the better value.

The Pro has 2K resolution. The plus is 1080p.

What do you folks need 2k for? I just want to know if someone is on my property, not how well their skin care routine is working

There's an option below the "Features" section. If you don't see it or that section doesn't load (which I've experienced before), try a private browser window or a different browser.

1080p would work for your application. But for me knowing someone has 2K and I only have 1080p, bothers me. 😀

For security cams frankly you need 8k eventually, the pixels are spread thin across a very wide angle and they are cheap cameras so each pixel is potentially just noise, especially at night, so actual resolution is lower than useful in some situations. Most criminals aren't going for selfie closeups you know, you just get a few frames of their face avatar size like on this desktop page.

What matters is face and license plate resolution from 50 feet. That being said this thing does work ok, the motion/human detection works easily 100 feet away, just don't expect to be able to read license plates from across the street. Also has critter detection now.
