Currently have this SSD in my PC as a games drive. Had it running since Dec 2024, no issues. Very tempting to get another one as the Amazon Prime price with tax is 257.57.

I have a 3rd generation of this NVMe and it has been running faultlessly for more than 1 year, running TrueNAS 24x7x365 with Home Assistant, PlexTV.

Wow. Dicey brand and unbelievable price for the tech. Age old dilemma.
Dicey ? Team group is as legit as any other bigger brand .

Pretty good price, but it seems like there are a lot of 4tb ssd's in this range lately. Makes me want to hold off....
also, obligatory "no DRAM" (I know its not a huge deal for most)

I've been using this drive as the primary boot drive in a PC, a second as an external drive (in an enclosure), both great.

I just bought the WD Black SN7100 2TB for $130 so was thinking about returning it for this to double my storage capacity at a terrific price. However, given the reputation of the WD, I'm going to stick with it. This benchmark comparison also influenced my decision:

These guys don't honor their warranty so I would look elsewhere.

Team Group recently reduced TBW from 3000 TBW for the 4TB configuration to 2000TBW. Not great behavior. They used to be reliable for customer service.

That benchmark comparison is for the MP44L. The drives are pretty much similar. Western Digital RMA support is likely, superior.

Yeah. Hard disagree on that. Sure go ahead and believe that.

For starters, that comparison is to the MP44L, which is lower end than the MP44. Second, there are numerous inaccuracies on that page. Even the MP44L is TLC and supports HMB (nearly all modern DRAM-less NVMe drives do).
