About the price of 2 macbook airs to get +8GB ram and +750GB HD on one macbook air. Hard to swallow. Maybe doing that protects their macbook pro sales?

I'm going off memory here but Best Buy has the air at 300 off and the pro at 200 off.

They also have a promo for plus and total members which gives you up to $75 in reward certificates.

If you have a store card you can get another 5 percent back which might give you another 50-100 off.

Far better deal, IMO.
