As this may or may not contain monacolin(the only reason you'd take this), you may see no benefit to this. Further, there is a moderate risk that citrinin is within the supplement, which is a kidney damaging toxin.

Since the FDA is against this supplement and it is not regulated, there is no claim of testing for either effective levels of monacolin or toxic levels of citrinin... even if they are aware of either.

Just get a prescription for an actual regulated statin if you need it. If this contains the active ingredient that it claims then it is illegal.

Miracle drug... yet heart disease is at all time highs, something Statins should have reduced by now.

Heart disease deaths have decreased by 66% from 1970 to 2022, what are you even talking about?

Absolute heart disease rates don't matter, because the majority of people don't start taking a statin until after they find they have ASCVD or worse.

About the deal-- yeah, Red Yeast Rice actually has a weak statin in it in doses of varying amounts, including zero. Wouldn't you rather take the same damn thing, but precisely measured and safety inspected?
