the Anker VR P10 has the lowest latency ear buds with the dedicated USBC dongle. nothing else comes close, so I'm not sure what else would make this ROG ear bud "gaming"

I have had these for years now. Decent budget gaming and all round earbud with noise cancelling, gaming mode, and EQ. I take these with me on trips so that if I lose them I am not too worried about replacing them. They sound pretty decent, feel alright in my ear, and Asus makes good products. Good deal at $45 for buds that are not flashy, but do the job and meet expectations.

+1 I agree. Bought these open box from Amazon and thought they were missing a dongle. Nope. Just plain Bluetooth like any other pair of BT headphones. No difference in latency. They also didn't sound very great.

Returned them and bought the Anker VR P10's on sale - now those are excellent gaming earbuds. No noticeable latency with the dongle, and I can take calls via BT on my phone while also playing on any device with a usb-c port.

Have these. Missed the return window. Hands down the worst set Ive ever used. Bought the Steelseries Gamebuds and those were miles better than this trash.

Another vote here for the VR P10 over these. The dongle not only grants very low latency but basically means you can instantly hook up to any device that has a usb-c port. I use them on phones, tablets, and laptops. Very flexible.

Could you please elaborate on why they were bad?

I got these a couple of months ago from Woot! and feel the same way. They're not as good as my Beats but they do the job for the price. Can't say they're any better than similarly priced buds but I like using them with my Steam Deck
