Been using this for quite some time. The first one I had started going slower then fast, like a bad connection or something. The second one works great. I rinse the head under water during and after using to prevent any heat buildup. You can usually find these at similar prices at places like Marshalls or TJ Maxx.

I've bought 3 of these, and they all crap out after about 3-4 months. It appears their battery compartment isn't very well sealed, and moisture will leak in and corrode the battery eventually (especially when kept in the bathroom).

It works well, but if it falls, it might come apart easily, Fortunately, it is not hard to reassemble.

Does this rip your hair out? Had some painful experiences with a different model and reverted to shears ever since then

I would recommend using this only for auxiliary hair (eyebrows, nose, ear, etc). It's quite delicate, that if you drop this it might explode, if none of the parts actually break it can be reassembled easily. It does the job well of trimming nose hairs, cleaning eyebrows, and cleaning up single loose beard/moustache hairs.

I wouldn't use this for anything subtantial like line ups or anything more than a few hairs.

Don't use the circular nose hair trimmers. Use the default long blade an gently circle the surface of the nostril.Mine often last untill I move an leave things behind an i use them for half my beard as well. I wouldn't put a trimmer under water though.

Never had that issue. I'd ask if you are using dollar tree batteries but recently those drain on their own within a week. Sounds like your batteries are the problem tho. That's usually the culprit when the battery Compartment is corroded. I've used tenergy an now eneloop an never had an issue. Tho my largest clippers from whal recently did have bad surface rust an those are newer. Definitely don't run clippers under water. Real Clippers are oiled to prevent rust

I've been using Costco batteries, but yes, its always the battery compartment that gets corroded. I don't' run the clippers under water.

Got mine from TJmaxx as well. I've had several similar ones and this was the most powerful, very pleased with it.

That's exactly my experience too. I have tried many brands, and at no point has any brand been better than any other. They're just super janky. None have ever lasted more than a few months, all seem equally poor quality. I'd be content to get something more lasting, but it just doesn't seem like a product you can find that lasts.
