Simply false. Wi-Fi 7 doubles the channel width on 5ghz. 6ghz has extremely poor range. I get faster speeds on 5ghz than 6ghz on my desktop using Asus bt10 mesh system.

If you're in the same room as the router 6ghz works well, but at that point just run a cable. Maybe 6ghz helps when you can run a wire between mesh points
