Unsure about the packaging, but this is a combo that is considered ONE item, so not able to return "either or," just all of it. Great price considering the battery pair. This will round out my M12 series almost perfectly.

They will be packaged separately. I scored the M12 Oscillating Tool deal from Monday and it it came in tool only form with a starter kit separate.

I have the oscillating tool already, and the 3" cut off tool, and a full size angle grinder, but I really like this deal with those HO batteries. Someone talk me into it!

Still "billed" as ONE on this particular deal. The Monday deal (which I got too) was listed separately on the receipt [i.e - "hackable"], so I can return the 3/8" ratchet (that I don't need) for $99.50 and keep the oscillating tools for the same.

I was hasty placing that order in picking the ratchet vs the die grinder, but in hindsight that was a blessing as I gained 2 - 5ah batteries on this deal.

Die grinders are good for cleaning grills and reconditioning cast iron. That's why I bought my DeWalt one. lol

I'll talk you out of it if you're looking for the HO batteries. These appear to be the XC 5.0 and I *think* they only make the HO up to 3ah for the M12.
